Hi everybody! Happy Turkey Day. I had an amazing tour in the Netherlands with Melvin Taylor, George Wild Child Butler and Sax Gordon. We played all these state of the art theaters, to sold out crowds! it was awesome and hopefully it turned some new people on to the blues! The highlight of the show for me, was my nightly duet with Wild Child Butler, who wrote “Put It All In There”. He says its about putting money in the bank! ;-) Now I’m back home and business as usual. My new years eve gig will be lots of fun. The Tea House in Torrance is a super cool place. They have a terrific gourmet chinese-californian menu, a full bar, and a marvelous drag queen show!! Its big and comfortable with booth seating and a huge outdoor patio! AND its all ages!

I’m doing lots of tupperware and holiday parties. Tupperware has some really groovy stuff for the holidays in great new colors and I still have some openings so book a party NOW. Its a great way to shop for holiday gifts and stay out of the malls. I’m also working on a bunch of new holiday songs and material for my december shows, so come out and see me somewhere. This time of year I am most grateful for all my fans and friends who continue to support my shows and be there for me. I had a great 40th birthday party, and I know that the next 40 years of my life will be even better and more fabulous than the last 40! Im grateful for my kids and for my health, and for the amazing opportunity to make music for a living! Thanks so much for your love of live music.

Im excited about the new year. They are using my song “For Your Love” on an episode of the Chris Isaak show, on showtime. I will also be the first fat girl to be featured in Penthouse Magazine! Its a feature story all about my music, in the February issue.I will also be playing in Australia, Cancun and Israel in the year 2002! I hope your holiday season is rockin’!! Hi everybody. just wanted to say that i hope you are all recovering from the horrible events of the last two weeks. i hope none of you have lost anyone that you knew personally. i was in ireland during the crisis and the irish people were extremely sympathetic. they flew their u.s. flags and generally tried to show solidarity. they have lived through terrorism for hundreds of years and so they feel our pain acutely.i was very relieved to get back home though, to my babies. since the crisis , i have had several gigs cancel. it has been difficult when people decide to donate the money from their event to the bombing victims but i have to understand. i still have to support my family though, so it has been very hard to have people cancel. But at least Im ALIVE!! many people have asked me if i will continue to travel the world, and the answer is “yes”. we all need to live our lives to the fullest and not be daunted by terror. Otherwise, they win! so come to a show...dance and drink...have a tupperware party. we are all lucky to be alive!!!! tupperlove and joyful fresh kisses, candye
